I'm hoping someone can help me with what is probably a very simple problem.
We have completely reinstalled epics base (14.4.3 and 14.3.4) and the
sequencer (2.0.7) onto a clean Red Hat Linux 9.0 environment and are trying
to get the example application described in Getting Started in the IOC
Developer's Guide up and going. We have followed the installation
instructions to the letter in order to build and run EPICS, the Sequencer
and the sncExample.st application.
When we run the example using the supplied st.cmd file, it all loads into
the iocsh correctly until it gets to the command:
seq sncExample,"user=username"
At this point, we get the error:
st.cmd -- Line 28 -- Command seq not found
Everything appears to have built OK and when we run the demo example that
comes with the sequencer, it executes correctly, including correctly
starting up the sequencer. I presume from this that EPICS and the
sequencer have built OK.
We are using gmake version 3.79.1 and have tried 3.80.0 as well, with no
luck.
Can anyone out there tell me why the seq command is not found when I run
this application?
