Andrei,
If your version of 'caget' and 'caput' is built from the
epics/extensions/src/EzcaScan directory. You should be able to use
the caget and caput to get the waveform record.
On a UNIX system, you have to include the
/usr/local/epics/extensions/bin/$HOST_ARCH in your search 'path'
/usr/local/epics/extensions/lib/$HOST_ARCH in your 'LD_LIBRARY_PATH'
where
$HOST_ARCH is 'solaris' for EPICS 3.13
$HOST_ARCH is 'solaris-sparc' for EPICS 3.14
If your 'path' and 'LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment is not correctly set,
you will have problem with caget and caput. May be you should ask
your system adminstrator automatically set these up for EPICS users.
