Hi All,
We set 192.168.26.n as our control subnet. A PC/Redhat9.0 (with its IP 192.168.26.2) runs edm, and its netmask is set to ffffff00 . The IOC IP address is set to 192.168.26.11:ffffff00 in the boot parameter.
The IOC downloads vxWorks and EPICS normally from PC/Redhat. In st.cmd there is putenv("EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=192.168.26.255") before iocInit. Also in PC/Linux I set EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=192.168.26.255 in .bash_profile .
But sometime edm can't connect to IOC, and displays the following messages:
CA.Client.Exception..........................
Warning: "Virtual circuit disconnect"
Context: "192.168.26.11:5064"
Source File: ../cac.cpp line 1147
Current Time: Mon Jun 28 2004 16:37:11.282870000
Where do I set incorrectly or should pay attention more?
Regards,
Lifang
