Running EPICS on Linux is not the problem.  I have been doing that for
a few years.

We have a relatively large number (~ 100) of FEE cards that only takes
on and off via TTL.  All what it does is turn on or off the FEE card.
So, using the parallel port probably will not work.

I guess I am looking for if anybody is controlling any devices via TTL
using a PCI card in Linux using EPICS.  If so, I would like to know
which TTL interface card and exactly how you are doing that.
