Lewis,  Yes, synApps 5.4 is intended to build against 3.14.10, and
has been in the works for months.  I have docs, notes, and tentative
tags for almost everything, but I haven't run the package as a whole
past the other developers yet.

What is your environment?  What is the error you're getting?

Are you using seq 2.0.12?  This version or later is required for EPICS
base 3.14.10 according to (see near the bottom of the page)

As for the sscan module, have you seen this Tech-Talk thread

If you're trying to build synApps 5.3, you may find other modules that
don't build also.  I ended up having to build from a synApps CVS
snapshot, but I can't deploy production systems against this.

It would be great if a new release of synApps could be made that would
work w/ EPICS base 3.14.10.  Tim Mooney, is this in the works, do you
have an idea of when this might happen?
