The next EPICS Codeathon will be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory on
Long Island, New York, from March 30th to April 3rd, 2009.
This is a call for names of people who are interested and might be able to
attend; if you (or your Boss) aren't sure but there's a chance you might be
able to come, send in your name anyway as for security reasons we won't be
able to add more names after the end of this week (say by next Monday morning
at 8am in New York).
It's open to anyone with experience writing EPICS-related code (or to
experienced EPICS users who are willing to work on updating documentation).
If you have a particular EPICS community project that you want to work on
you'll be welcome to do so, and we'll have a long list of things to pick from
as well. There will probably be a limit on numbers, but I don't know what
that will be yet.
Please email both me <[email protected]> and Bob Dalesio <[email protected]> with
your full name and email address, and let us know how sure you are that
you'll be able to come.
More details will be forthcoming as we work them out over the next few weeks.
I will probably update the webpage I created for the last Codeathon, which is
at http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/meetings/codeathon.php
