caRepeater fans out beacon messages to multiple clients on one machine. It has *nothing* to do with name resolution on the server machine.


It does take care of the same problem, i.e. UDP messages not reaching all processes that want to receive them. But, again: it does it on the client side for the UDP beacons (default port 5065), not on the server side for the UDP name resolution (default port 5064), which is the issue here.
