This points to the problem being a bug in the local interface between the CA
client library and the IOC server -- there is a special interface that the
client uses when it's running in the same process as the IOC to access local
channels. That puts the issue in Jeff Hill's area of responsibility. He may
not have been following your previous posts, so could you summarize the bug
that you're seeing and explain how to replicate it as simply as possible,
he'll then be able to look further when he has the time to do so.
