Since I happen to know that you have a recent version of MinGW installed, I
think you should just be able to use the command "mingw-get install patch" to
install the MSYS version of patch, which I believe will be put into
C:/MinGW/msys/1.0/bin (the number might be different). It may also add one or
two more things but that's all I had to do yesterday to be able to apply a
Unix patch file on my XP system.
