Have a look at the <asynTop>/dbd directory — Is there an asyn.dbd file there? If so, the -I../../../dbd in the dbExpand should have caused it to have been seen.
Maybe there’s some sort of ordering problem here.
Try running
make -k
a couple times to see if you can get past this problem.
