Hi Oksana,
I am not quite sure what you are asking. You don’t need to change MaxSizeX and MaxSizeY. You just need to set the readout region and binning for the mode you want to use. You will then get whatever maximum frame rate the camera is capable
of with that configuration. This is done all the time with the AVT cameras.
Are you using the areaDetector Prosilica driver or the Aravis driver? Either can be used to control this camera.

Subject: Area Detector IOC: how to change MAXSIZE X and Y?
Hi,
I have a GigE camera GC655 and Area Detector IOC running on Debian. At its standard configuration 659X493 camera can perform at 90 fps. And I am achieving this through epics
IOC.
This camera has another mode. When you reduce the area to 320x240 it is performing at 164 fps. The AVT screen shot is attached. Many cameras have this mode.
How I can change/set max size in epics IOC to 320x240 to achieve this performance?
Perhaps someone has already done this.
I have tried changing it through AVT software, assigning new configuration to different ConfigFileIdexes, however, every time I start IOC, it resets it to default max size. Size is _RBV record only.
Thank you,
Oksana
