Just for clarification, there are several ways to set the value of a record after the IOC has booted. I would like to see if I get the priority rights
0/ default VAL=0 1/ VAL in db file 2/ autosave pass1 --- IOCINIT --- 3/ device init, asyn init, stream @init 4/ autosave pass 2 --- end of IOCINIT 5/ process at init (i.e. PINI) for input records --- monitor sent 6/ dbpf in at end of stcmd --- monitor sent 7/ 1st scan (or chained processing) for input records --- monitor sent
(How to read this: If a record is autosaved, a dbpf or PINI or ... will overwrite the autosaved value)
Is this the correct order? Did I forget anything?
Regards, -- Emmanuel
