With reference to this link
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/tech-talk/2013/msg02098.php , I have also similar situation when I disconnect the connection to PLC (connected through IPPort driver) in my asyn s7 plc driver I got below messages on IOC as I pass asynDisconnected in all read()
functions.

devAsynInt32 process read error
devAsynFloat64 process read error
devAsynUInt32Digital::process read error

So passing below will help to avoid this messages on IOC in case of disconnection…? Or is there any method to do the same..? as in many error situation I have to break the connection with PLC.
