Hm, that would be me I guess. So is removing epicsShareApi the consensus or
not? If there are inconsistencies between .c and .h files in caPutLog I will
fix them in favor of whatever you think is more useful.
Yes, please remove the epicsShareAPI declaration.
This decoration (that affects the way arguments are passed from caller
to function) should only be applied to functions that are intended to be
called from other programming languages with possibly different
parameter-passing conventions.
