Thank you all for your help,
Seems like the problem was permissions issue because I started the "sampleStartup.sh" script as "sudo" and the status is now being archived. I will run
it for few days to store some data and test data retrieval.

Subject: Re: EPICS Archiver Appliance does not transfer PVs to "Being archived"
When I was deploying Archiver Appliance one month ago, I encountered the same issue and I finally found the root cause was that I brought up Archiver Appliance with non-root user,
however, the default STS/MTS/LTS paths in the generated sampleStartup.sh script were as follows, which were not writable by non-root user without "chmod" configuration, thus Arcihver Appliance cannot create PB files. After setting STS/MTS/LTS path to a writable
directory, the issue was gone and the state can transfer to "Being Archived".
export ARCHAPPL_SHORT_TERM_FOLDER=/arch/sts/ArchiverStore
export ARCHAPPL_MEDIUM_TERM_FOLDER=/arch/mts/ArchiverStore
export ARCHAPPL_LONG_TERM_FOLDER=/arch/lts/ArchiverStore
But I am not sure if your root cause is the same as mine.

Subject: EPICS Archiver Appliance does not transfer PVs to "Being archived"
Hi
I used a single machine install for testing the archiver appliance as a proof-of-concept on a local machine. I added 2 PVs to the system using the management console, the status goes
from "initial sampling" to "Appliance assigned" and it just stops here where it should go to "Being archived". Why the appliance is not archiving the PVs?
Thanks!
Abdalla.
