Hi Tim,

I do not have that problem. I have soft IOCs running under procServ and when I type seqChanShow the Enter key works fine to advance to the next channel.

I suspect something is set wrong with your procServ command? We are invoking procsServ in a script as follows:

# Command definition
procserv = '/usr/local/bin/procServ --logstamp -n "%s_IOC" -L /home/epics/logs/%s.log %s %s'

# Invoke above command for each IOC
pcmd = procserv % (iocname, iocname, port, cmd)

Mark

Hi,

I have found an issue with the sequencer command 'seqChanShow', when
logged into a softIoc via procServ telnet.
Running this command on a sequencer will output the first channel in the
sequencer as expected. For some reason, the terminal does not recognize
the linefeed command using the enter key to proceed to the next channel.
Instead, I discovered you have to use cntrl-j ?

The sequencer command works normally for a sequencer I run locally?

I am running softIocs on the following systems:

RHEL Linux kernel - 2.6.32-642.1.1.el6.i686
EPICS Version - R3.14.11
Sequencer Version - seq-2.2.3

Regards,
Tim Southern
