It's been a while but from what I remember when you issue a DBE_PROPERTY monitor, the gateway will create a DBR_CTRL subscription so that it can catch the maximum number of fields. However, DBR_CTRL structures do not have the timestamp; so to pick up the timestamp, you may have to create two subscriptions and combine the information.
