Hi all,

I’d like to send out this announcement to introduce TimeChart, a new graphing application. The ultimate objective for TimeChart is to be a graphing tool for control systems as an alternative/improvement to StripTool. Written in Python, using pydm, pyqt, and pyqtgraph, TimeChart is designed to be cross-platform, with a UI layout designed for better usability.

TimeChart documentation is available online:

https://slaclab.github.io/timechart/index.html

and is available for downloads and forks:

https://github.com/slaclab/timechart

As this is the case of a new software in its first stage of development, I hope that you can give TimeChart a try, and provide feedback, suggestions, and reporting issues to the Issues page (https://github.com/slaclab/timechart/issues) .  These reports will be incorporated to the development goals for the set of features and enhancements in the next release of TimeChart.

Thank you, let’s start the downloads! :-)

-Hai
