Rather than aravisGigE I would suggest that you use ADAravis.  It is intended as the replacement for aravisGigE.  The code is simpler because it is based on ADGenICam base class.  It also has a number of nice features that aravisGigE lacks, such as building enum choices at run time, based on the feature values actually available in the camera at that time.

Hi Michael,
I recommend you take a look at the aravisGigE module (https://github.com/areaDetector/aravisGigE).
There's a pco 1600 xml file so I guess it should work with your model: https://github.com/areaDetector/aravisGigE/blob/master/etc/genicam/PCO1600.xml
