I’m considering using a combination of GNU Screen (for multi-user access to the console, logging and screen history buffer recall) to run procServ -f (for IOC start/stop/restart) that runs a script which exec’s the IOC binary, although I haven’t actually tried that full combination yet.
Just curious, why do you need procServ at all? You can run tmux (and
presumably Screen) as a systemd service if you want. You can run tmux
commands to start, stop, and restart an IOC.
