Looking a bit closer, our case is different. We do not get the assertions but the IOC crashes after a while with the message:

We have some initial clues to what is going on here. I will get back to this tomorrow, with more details and running with debug symbols enabled.

Can you provide file+line numbers for the failed assertions circa Base 7.0?
It would probably be good to open a ticket as well.
