Hi Juliane,

  Please look at the example.substitutions file. It uses ioc_sns.db
within there. My first guess ioc_sns.db file is missing or is located
in a wrong directory.

  If you can send the EPICS IOC source file or let me know which repo
I can look at to the lab user account "JeongLee".  I may help you more
quickly.
