Hi Yong,

Tom has pointed your query out to me (afraid I've not been monitoring this mailing list for some time, I hope you get this).

You should be able to build the database file using epicsdbbuilder which you can find at https://github.com/Araneidae/epicsdbbuilder .  I'm afraid it looks like the link in the readme for picoharp goes to the wrong place, just pick up the current version from github.  This tool is not Diamond specific (anymore...)!

Let me know if you have any problems building this and I'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Michael Abbott

I guess this might be a question for you?

Thanks,

Subject: PicoHarp 300

Does anyone have a ready-to-use db file (picoharp.db) for PicoHarp 300?

I managed to build the pico library from source codes: https://github.com/Araneidae/picoharp , but failed to generate the db file because the building process seems heavily dependent on Diamond Light Source internal environment.

Another question: has anyone managed to use a USB-to-Ethernet converter to control PicoHarp 300 through the EPICS driver?

Thanks,

Yong
