We are looking for an IT Systems Architect/Engineer to join the STS Project. As part of this >$1B project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee, the IT Systems Architect/Engineer will provide technical expertise and computing support for the STS Project. The scope includes supporting project computing needs during the design and development stages, and planning for the computing systems which will be delivered as part of the STS Project. This includes the computing systems for the EPICS-based control systems and the experiment data systems. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of computing systems and technology, the technical skills to successful implement computing solutions to meet a wide range of needs, and the ability to leverage technical expertise from across ORNL to meet STS requirements.
