Read the online help about Data Browser, "Optimized vs. Raw Data".

With 'Optimized' requests, the Data Browser requests historic
data as a reduced (optimized) set of min/max/average samples. When
using 'Area' traces as shown in Fig. 4a, the average values are
plotted as a line, and the min/max outline is displayed as a
light-colored area. This not only reduces the amount of data compared
to plotting every single raw sample from the archive. In addition it
makes it obvious if a value was fairly stable over time, or if there
was a lot of movement in the data as around 06:00 in Fig. 4a.

Switch to "Raw" data if that's what you prefer.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] CS-Studio Databrowser historical data display

Hi,
In CS-Studio data browser, when displaying historical data it is displaying with blurred band of data as shown in the picture. The initial part of data in the data browser attached from the database. and later on live data.
The live data is clear line. but data from the database shows band of colours.
How to display clear data  from data base in the data browser?

Thanks
Vishnu
