Hello Marco,
Try adding the path to your dbd file in your db file. The link below offers an example under section 6.2. https://epics-extensions.github.io/VisualDCT/doc/MAN-VisualDCT_Users_Manual.html#parser Something like this: #! DBDSTART
#! DBD("'mvc3Include.dbd")
#! DBDEND

Hello, EPICS community.
I have downloaded the latest release of VisualDCT via the github link (https://github.com/epics-extensions/VisualDCT/releases) to edit database files via the interface. When i try to execute the .jar file, a browsing window shows up to let me select a .db or .dbd file but after i select it the window closes and nothing happens. If i try to execute the program via the command java -jar VisualDCT.jar dbdfile.dbd dbfile.db (the files are in the same directory of the terminal) it generates the following message: Loading VisualDCT v2.8.2... Directive to load DBD: 'mvc3Include.dbd'.
Directive to load DB: 'mvc3_channel.db'.
No DBD loaded! Exiting...
I suspect its something with my java configurations but im not sure. Does anyone knows if i am doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
