When i populate the CALC field in the db file, it is seen properly in the phoebus. If i try to change the formulae from phoebus gui, only the first character gets set in the calc field.

I am using the adl files of synapps which are converted to bob. If u see the screenshot the format is string. With this i am able to see the calc field already set using the db file.

I am using 7.0.6 version

I have set it to to use the org.phoebus.pv.ca/addr_list=127.0.0.1
parameter in the settings.ini file.
Pl tell me of proper way to do it.

The userCalc1 of synapps uses swait record. It is recommended to use calcout instead.

Does it have anything to do with it?
