Hey Roy,
which version of base are you using?
I'm running base 7.0.6 on Debian 11 and it is working for me
without any issues.

florian@palumapc1:test$ makeBaseApp.pl -i -t example ioc
Using target architecture linux-x86_64 (only one available)
What application should the IOC(s) boot?
The default uses the IOC's name, even if not listed above.
Application name? test

Hi,
I
am trying to install epics on debian11 system. I can
compile base successfully, but the iocBoot folder is
not produced when I use the command "makeBaseApp.pl
-i -t example ioc". How
can i solve this problem?
Thank you
Roy
