That might work on at least one of our hosts, but some of them will also want to be able to be accessed from outside, unfortunately.
If you want those outside clients to talk directly to the IOC (and not through a Gateway as per Freddie's setup), the allowed connections from the same machine would probably not be coming through loopback, but also through the external network.
I would start the IOC, connect a client from the same host, use "casr" on the IOC to check which address that client is listed as, and use that address in the AS file. This will be different for each host, obviously.
