Hello,

For vxWorks installation, the "gnu" directory is below "WindRiver" rather than "WindRiver/vxworks-6.9", so the WIND_BASE in CONFIG_SITE.Common.vxWorksCommon should be,

WIND_BASE = /home/abcd/WindRiver

rather than WIND_BASE = /home/abcd/WindRiver/vxworks-6.9

I encounter an error while building an EPICS 3.15.6 base with vxWorks-6.9 for the case of CROSS_COMPILER_TARGET_ARCHS=vxWorks-ppc32, see error messages below.

 

I changed each PATH

1. /base-3.15.6/configure/CONFIG_SITE
• CROSS_COMPILER_TARGET_ARCHES : vxWorks-ppc32
2. Base-3.15.6/configure/os/CONFIG_SITE.Common.vxWorksCommon
• VXWORKS_VERSION = 6.9
• WIND_BASE = /home/abcd/WindRiver/vxworks-6.9

Like this.

 

And then make the epics_base-3.15.6, it shows me this kind of make error:

 

make[3]: /home/abcd/WindRiver/vxworks-6.9/gnu/4.3.3-vxworks-6.9/x86-linux2/bin/ccppc: Command not found

make[3]: *** [vxComLibrary.o] Error 127

make[1]: *** [libCom.install] Error 2

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/abcd/EPICS/base-3.15.6/src'

make: *** [src.install] Error 2

 

I’d like to know how can I fix this error
