Thanks all for the prompt responses, and thanks Michael for the quick fix. I did not have the chance to test the fix yet because I followed your first suggestion: I actually don't need the NTAttribute since I can attach any custom structure to my Normative Types PV. Indeed, I did not need the NTNTArray at all for my simple experiment, the NTScalarArray plus additional fields worked very well. 

IMHO the QSRV info tags are very handy once you get used to it. Another strategy that I will try is to use PVXS inside the IOC to create structured Normative Types PVs.
