Hi all,
To avoid modifying upstream database templates, I would like to make a second template that appends to the existing records:
$ cat upstream.template
record(ai, "MYRECORD") {
field(VAL, "1")
}
$ cat local.template
include "upstream.template"
record(ai, "MYRECORD") {
info(archive, "VAL")
}
It would be nice to not have to repeat the type of the record in the second file. Is this possible? If not, could we add an "overload" or "existing" record type to they syntax that would allow this?
Thanks,
Tom
