Sure, I will try to rebase on the outstanding PR and report back.

Hi Evan,
that's great and you already made pull requests on epicsdeb. Is it possible to merge Martins last pull requests beforehand and maybe redo the pull request if it doesn't merge without conflicts? We are using this version (and 3.15.9 imported on top of that)
as basis for our epics debian packaging and I think the newer versions of 3.15 should be in the git history.
Best regards,
Christoph

P.S., I have Base 7.0.7 and submodules packaged if anyone would like it. I agree that some coordination at the next meeting might be helpful.

Hi Evan,
We are also still very much use Ubuntu and build our own Debian packages for EPICS base and modules (which are relevant for us), as well as various other (python) tools (such as pyepics, caproto, epicsdbbuilder, softioc). But we do not
use epicsdeb for this, but have our own toolchain.
Due to some recent improvements in infrastructure we might be able to share these packages more easily and I was already looking into this. Maybe I will have an update on this for the next EPICS collaboration meeting.
Hi Evan,
I guess there is no active maintainer right now since the decline of Debian/Debian-packaging as basis for most facilities that run EPICS. We are still using basic EPICS/Debian-packaging at BESSY to setup client and server machines.
Your changes sound reasonable. I will test them in our build environment, but it's difficult for me right now so it might take some. Thanks for your work!

Is anyone still taking care of epics-debhelper? I have a pull request fixing an issue with later lintian versions [1].
