Hi folks,

I've found some weird behavior with the makeSupport.pl script.  I've been trying to keep my paths in RELEASE.local for all of the EPICS modules that I'm using, with the thought that this will make it easier to keep track of site-specific stuff.  To that end, my instructions for Asyn are written to tell me to create configure/RELEASE.local that looks like this:

SUPPORT=/home/leblanc/EPICS/support
CALC=$(SUPPORT)/calc
SSCAN =
SNCSEQ = 
EPICS_BASE=/home/leblanc/EPICS/epics-base

This lets me build Asyn and StreamDevice.  

When I later try to run makeSupport.pl, it gets grumpy.

$ $ASYN/bin/$EPICS_HOST_ARCH/makeSupport.pl -t streamSCPI KS_34980A_EPICS
EPICS_BASE directory '' does not exist

Eventually I thought to edit $ASYN/configure/RELEASE and add the EPICS_BASE line from RELEASE.local, and now makeSupport.pl works.  

It seems like maybe makeSupport.pl doesn't follow the -include directives in the RELEASE file?  It looks like there's something on line 221 that should read in the include files and call the readRelease sub recursively, but I'm not adept enough to step through the perl debugger to figure out what might be going on.
