Maybe a silly question.  When this happens, is the link LED still on?



While somewhat dated now, I had some experience with Prosilica (now AVT) cameras @nsls2
circa 2011 which were broadly similar to what others reports.  These cameras occasionally
become unresponsive.  I also had the impression that this was correlated with setting
changes, but was unable to isolate a specific trigger.

For the NSLS2 linac, the diagnostic cameras initially did not have remote power control.
This was added fairly quickly once beam commissioning started to save on shoe leather.
