We have used the Measurement Computing USB-TEMP and USB-TEMP-AI. It costs about $600.

They can measure thermcouples, RTD, semiconductor, and thermistor sensors.  There is EPICS support in

Hi Michael,

We’ve used 4-wire PT100 RTDs with the Lakeshore 224, which has support for 12 channels. It’s easy to interface to and setup.

We use it for both cryogenic applications and also room temperature measurements.

It has good EPICS support, although I’m not seeing any published support on the EPICS website. I can send you a copy of our local support if you need it.

Cheers,

Matt

Dear all,

I would like to know what devices you are using for measuring 4-wire RTDs (temperatur), that -of course- have EPICS-support.

For a long time, we used the multimeter Keithley K2700, until it broke. The Keithley DAQ6510/7700 seems to be the successor of the K2700 that would fit our needs. But I wonder if there are other systems in use…

We don’t actually need high measurement accuracy, but at least 10 channels would be good.

Best regards

Michael
