Hello David,

I think this is the same issue we saw a couple of weeks ago. Michael found
this to be caused by spaces vs. tabs in the Makefile (see
https://epics.anl.gov/tech-talk/2026/msg00506.php) and has created this fix:
https://github.com/paulscherrerinstitute/StreamDevice/pull/108

This solved the issues on our end (both for pcre2 and pcre3).
