Again, I am exclusively talking about archiving non-NT data that does not contain alarm status. Heinz' case. I cannot imagine cases where this would not be interesting. Me neither, but our imagination is limited and not relevant. Our tools should be robust and help the users - not educate them. EPICS has never kept the users from doing stupid things.
