MTS/Instron Load Frame Controller IOCs

Hi everyone,

 

Thanks for all your help so far, you’ve been fantastic!

 

Our facility is looking to implement a universal testing frame at one of our beamports, and we are looking to acquire an MTS or Instron load frame controller to control the motors on the frame. Are you folks aware of any IOCs/support modules that have been written for these controllers?

 

Suggestions for other kinds of epics-compatible controllers that would work for the purpose of driving these motors are also welcome!

 

Motor Specs:

Parker RX320E

DC Brushed Servo-electric motors

Permanent Current: 7.8A

Supply Voltage: 54V

Peak Current: 20A

Maximum Speed: 3000rpm
