Images Re: PV Access Protocol Specification

Suggestions where to put images like the diagrams for connection states,
http://epics-pvdata.sourceforge.net/image/pvAccessSpec_ConnectionStates.png ?

1) Link to the old locations on sourceforge
Fastest right now, but can't add/update images that way.
Not in one place, SourceForge content might go away.

2) Add images to repo, like https://github.com/epics-base/pvAccessCPP/tree/master/illustrations
That's what I would do, but wanted to ask before I add stuff to the repo.
