We think we're (almost) done with the 3.14.12 release now, and Janet has
uploaded the R3.14.12-rc1 release tarfile to the web-server. Updated copies
of the documentation files are available from the release page below, and I
have added a PDF copy of the Application Developers' Guide as well.
See http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/R3-14/12.php for more details.
Thanks to everyone who helped by testing the -pre1 and -pre2 releases and
reporting back, hopefully we've shaken the major issues out by now, but if you
do come across any problems please report them here ASAP. If nothing major is
reported before then, 3.14.12 will be released on November 22nd.

--
If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will
scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will
refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something
which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he
will accept it even on the slightest evidence. -- Bertrand Russell
