Folks,
I just got two new Motorola MVEME167-02B boards. I installed the vxWorks 5.1
ROMs and tried swapping them into an IOC in place of an old MVME167. vxWorks
boots and EPICS starts, but there is one huge problem: no VME A16 devices are
visible. If I put the old MVME167 back in it works fine. With the new board
all non-VME devices work fine, but no VME A16 addresses respond.
I just spoke to John Winans and he does not understand the problem. The
MVME167-02B is supposed to be electrically identical to the old MVME-167, only
a new vmeChip-2 pinout or something.
Has anyone successfully used the MVME167-02B with EPICS? I am running
EPICS R3.12.0Beta13.
Hopefully I have just set up something wrong?
Mark
