Well, I did end up doing it twice ... (the rebooting part).
What the problem ended up being:
Due to Nick and myself working on the same project on two crates we
had to put in access restrictions. Only, now Nick is on leave and
I'm using his crate (because somebody else is using mine). I took
the access resctrictions out of the crate, but not out of the
workstation ....
I guess logging out and back in would have accomplished getting rid
of them, but to make sure I rebooted again.
