Hello All,
POSTECH webmail default type is HTML, so i send again for tach-talk users.

It is PLS status for CANbus applications;

PLS Control group chosen BESSY-II multiCAN package for new project what 22 set of corrector power supplies control system upgrade.
The BESSY-II using 24-bit resolution DAC reference output board and embedded i386ex processer called P_SERVER it is support CANbus and serial port.
VME side CAN 4 port board is production by German ESD Company.
Last month I and my colleague who Jihwa was visited BESSY-II control group for testing new upgraded version what multiCAN driver for MV162 and MV5100, That driver upgrade and ported to PPC core by Kristi and Ralph.

We successfully tested CAN4 and multiCAN driver even completed testing EPICS IOC CAN-4 with five of 24-bit embedded controller. It is really nice control system and easily add up target hardware with VME CAN-4 port.

Thanks again to Kristi, Ralph and BESY-II Control staffers.

Kiman,
PLS Control and Taskforce team.
