You need to add the following line to your .dbd file:
include "genSubRecord.dbd"
Also you need to add something like the following line to your Makefile:
exampleApp_LIBS += genSub

Hi all,
I want to use genSub record but I don't know how to make it available, I
use EPICS 3.14.8.
My starting point is the example application obtained with :
>makeBaseApp.pl -t exampleApp myGenSubApp
>makeBaseApp.pl -i -t exampleBoot myGenSubApp
Here is What I did:
- In the <top>/configure/RELEASE file I have added the location of the
gensub module (GENSUB=$(EPICS_BASE)/../modules/soft/gensub)
- then I run the make command in the <top> directory
=> When I inspect the application tree there is nothing related to the
genSub, the genSub record is not available in VDCT.
As a first step I would like to do what is done in the example
application with the sub record but with a genSub record.
Can someone explain me the procedure to have genSub available ?
Regards.
