I'd be happy to send someone the source code that Ken Evans wrote if they wish 
to take over development of the EPICS IDE.  We don't need that kind of tool 
here at APS though, so the work would have to be done by someone else.

One of the limitations with the way the EPICS community works is that all 
significant development work has to have a lab or other site that is willing 
to fund it, which means that beginners-level tools tend to be scarce.
