If I try setting UEIP to "Yes", it does not get set and the value remains "No". If I try setting ERES to .1, and then setting UEIP to "Yes", I get the following error message:

Illegal choice PV: alexHost:testMotor2.UEIP error detected in routine: dbFastLinkConv(cvt_st_menu)

Some motor controllers don't support encoders, which might result in the

UEIP value being forced to "No," but that doesn't look like what is

happening here.

Which client is being used to change the UEIP value?

What happens if you do a caput from the command line?

  $ caput alexHost:testMotor2.UEIP "Yes"
