Have you tried plugging the 6100 into a dumb hub or a switch? I know that this seems odd, but at various times noise or other environmental variables have caused almost exactly the problem that you have, and sticking a dumb hub between the 61000 and wherever you normally plug into the network sometimes makes the issue go away. From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Ricardo Cardenes Sent: Monday, July 9, 2018 9:01 PM To: Talk EPICS Tech <[email protected]> Subject: Network errors on a 6100 (running RTEMS 4.10.2) I got a 6100 that was booting correctly, but then refusing to mount the file system over NFS (and complaining also about NTP). If found an old message that matched my problem, and an answer suggesting to force the speed in the switch (down to 100Mbps) instead of letting the board auto-negotiate it. Till Straumann replied that this should not be necessary, as those boards are known to be working properly with Gigabit Ethernet, but this actually worked for me (!!) Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Any hints/solutions? |
