Hi Kevin,

Thanks for getting back to me. I will keep a look out for changes related to the motor repository splitting.

In order to test the drivers for the MAXv, I am planning to use a VME rack with Emerson MVME 5500 card. I believe the card was tested in the past by booting RTEM with EPICS from a server using FTP. For testing a MAXv or MAXnet, what are your suggestions for an operating system and boot method? I have found on the EPICS website how to boot a soft IOC Linux box. It appears that Linux is now more of the movement to run EPICS on than RTEMS.

Everything Mark said is correct.  I hope to begin the split of the motor
repository very soon.

I subscribe to tech-talk, but the number of unread tech-talk messages in
my inbox is usually much higher than I care to admit.
