My apologies for missing that interesting pull request for RTEMS 5.
I specially appreciate the effort to make it work in qemu for i386, which is much easier to test and debug.

We do now accept pull requests there.
The current focus of development is the 7.0 branch.
FYI there is ongoing work by Heinz Junkes to support the (in progress) RTEMS 5 release.
